Survive. Revive. Thrive.
Welcome to Able Through Life!
I am thrilled you're here.
Life is a cycle of surviving, reviving, and thriving, and I’ve experienced this stages as I went through grief and loss through divorce, disease, disability, and death.
I am Ruth Tindugan, and here’s what you can expect in this community: inspiring stories, practical tips, and insights on moving on, and living life during, and after loss.
Perhaps, you too, have been there, so I invite you to share your journey as well. I look forward to hear from you as a reader, subscriber, or as a contributor to my blog. Thank you for joining!

Because we live in an imperfect world…
Crisis happens.
We find ourselves swimming against the current,
struggling to stay afloat; gasping for breath to make it through another day.
Survival is a struggle.
Then our foot hits a rock, and we thrust upward.
We gulp the air of grace coming from somewhere.
A solution. An encouragement. Forgiveness.
A helping hand, or luck, answered prayer.
Revival is starting over.
The distant roar of the sea is behind us
We’re walking on dry ground again.
We find our lot and build something on it.
Blooming with a new purpose, meaning, and adventure.
Life is good again.
But, we live in an imperfect world, and
Crisis happens— not if but when, and we’re back to
Survive. Revive. Thrive.
It’s the cycle of life.
